I started sewing while I was pregnant with my second child as a way to cultivate a skill I could use to make items for my kids. At first it was simple, using mostly squares and rectangles and cotton fabric. Then I moved toward sewing bags for more challenging projects. And when I learned about digital artists and became friends with them, it was a whole new world. This crossover of artistry allowed me to create something even more unique. It went from being a different way to provide to something that has become my obsession.
