Local artists Claire Kennedy and Max Marshall are excited to announce a call for proposals for the first iteration of SpeedBump Fort Worth. About SpeedBump SpeedBump Fort Worth is a free, one day tour of Fort Worth visual artists taking place on May 9, 2026 from 11 am - 5 pm. Inspired by Oak Cliff Visual SpeedBump Art Tour and SpeedBump lil d, SpeedBump Fort Worth is a response to the need for community engagement around non-traditional art spaces and exposure for local artists.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
We are accepting submissions from March 2, 2026 - Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM. We are planning for 10 total stops throughout Fort Worth in non-traditional art spaces. Give us your best and weirdest ideas for exhibitions, workshops, performances, and other activities! This call is primarily for visual artists but exceptions for poets, musicians, and other types of performance art can be made. Because this is a time constrained curated event, not all submissions will make it into the final line up. Important Dates: Entry Deadline: April 3, 2026 Artists Notified: April 10, 2026 Exhibition Date: May 9, 2026 from 11 am - 5 pm
