Tacky. Campy. Gloriously lowbrow. That’s exactly what we’re looking for in our newest exhibition: Kitsch! Need inspiration? Think flamingos, fuzzy dice, velvet paintings, seashell dioramas, macaroni art, snow globes, mermaids, pineapples, hula girls, garden gnomes, mounted fish… the list goes on and on. If it makes people say, “Wow… that’s a lot,” you’re probably on the right track. This is your chance to leave good taste at the door and not take yourself—or your art—too seriously. Embrace the ridiculous, celebrate the gaudy, and let your inner kitsch run wild. The tackier, the better. Go ahead… make something wonderfully awful. Reserve your space by: April 6.
