Artist Statement
As an artist, I strive to create paintings that have meaning and speak to, not only me, but others as well. But that’s not enough, there has to be a connection to the piece. It’s not just a canvas with paint or pencil. It’s special, it has meaning. Before a piece can be considered finished or complete, I have to feel that last brush stroke or that last pass of the pencil.
