Expression Through Layers As an Expressionist, I create to give voice to what’s felt beneath the surface—emotion, memory, struggle, and faith. I work in mixed media: markers, pens, colored pencils, and more. Each layer reflects both personal experience and the world around me—socially, economically, politically, and spiritually. My art is shaped by life: its beauty, pain, and tension. It’s how I process injustice, identity, and hope. I don’t aim to paint what’s seen, but what’s felt. Faith runs quietly through my work, not as religion, but as presence. Each piece is a journal entry—raw, emotional, layered. I create not just to be understood, but to connect.
