Throughout my life, I've had a fascination with sea turtles. I can still remember seeing my first "real" one while snorkeling in Hawaii as a teenager. I have been fortunate to work with them for most of my career, and I try to meet with and support local sea turtle conservation organizations whenever I'm on vacation. This love of sea turtles, and in a bigger sense, all aquatic life, lead me down a path of reducing my plastic use. I stopped using liquid soaps and loofahs and started buying handmade soaps. Then I wondered if I could start making some myself. That set me down the path of soap making. I started making soaps that had the qualities that I liked from bars I had used. When family and friends loved the bars, I began to wonder if I could start selling them. Once I decided to do so, I knew that part of my profits had to go back to my original inspiration: sea turtles! By buying our products, you are supporting real sea turtle conservation. Our donations will go to organizations that work in front line conservation of these animals. I've gotten to know so many of these wonderful conservation workers and understand where a little bit of money can go a long way. All products are made using natural oils, butters, colorants, and fragrances. Being a nature lover, they're also palm oil free. I want our products to make your skin feel great but also give you a sense that you did something for the greater good.
