Born in Waco, Tx, I started my journey at age six, asking my father to help me draw a horse. I’ve been drawing ever since, but now I’m the one teaching 6 year olds. I received a BFA at TCU in 2005, and have been teaching elementary art in Fort Worth ISD for 21 years. I continue to create my own work in my free time and working on commissioned painting and murals.

I love to draw/paint animal subjects. Big to small, every creature is so fun for me to portray in my own whimsical way.
