Gertie’s Soaps and Sundries began with a personal journey. After experiencing a severe allergic reaction to an over-the-counter product, founder Terri Winkelman set out to find a better way. That search led to a deep dive into traditional soapmaking and a passion for creating all-natural alternatives to conventional bath products.
What started as a need turned into a lifestyle, and a business. The difference these pure, handcrafted products made was too good not to share. And so, Gertie's was born.
We believe in keeping things simple: no harsh chemicals, no unnecessary additives, just clean ingredients that are kind to your skin and good for the earth. Our goal is to offer something different in the best possible way: simple, pure and naturally effective. We like to call it, simple goodness for your skin!
