About

I have always loved art and office supply stores, but often denied myself the pleasure of purchasing anything that didn’t have a practical purpose. Since I didn’t consider myself an artist, I only bought things related to school supplies or for art projects my kids were doing. Then I read Waking the Dead by John Eldridge, and he encouraged his readers to notice what they love but hadn’t yet given themselves permission to explore. As I noticed my love for art and office supplies, I realized I had a deep desire to be an artist and to freely create from my heart. A few months later I saw an artist painting with watercolors during a worship gathering. It was mesmerizing. Her figures were simple and captivating, and I thought “I could do that!” So for my birthday that year, I asked for a set of nice colored pencils and watercolor classes and began to explore drawing and creating primarily while sitting in church. I discovered that as I allowed my heart to guide my hand, symbols and colors emerged in my drawings that reflected what the speaker was talking about or the music was saying BEFORE those things were said or sung. I discovered God speaking to and through me in my art and I hesitantly began embracing “I AM an Artist” as my reality. I allowed myself to acknowledge and embrace my own intuition and creative genius and to give myself permission to let my creative expression be seen and to belong in my world. My creative offerings have expanded to include watercolor meditation, prophetic portraits, live paintings, and, more recently, ceramics. My collectors and supporters have reported feeling deeply connected to God through my art, receiving Divine messages to their hearts when they engage with my creations. I love helping people to see their own light in a brand new way through my art, reminding them of their value and worth and inspiring them to follow and trust their own intuition and creative genius

Artist Statement

The heart of my artistic journey is the embodiment of my connection to Divine Love through the act of creation and artistic expression. My work is a reflection of my intimate spiritual world, a conduit through which I channel the essence of inspiration and revelations about me, my world, and the people I am here to serve. I craft with intention, utilizing various mediums to express the depths of my spiritual encounters. Drawing inspiration from moments of meditation and contemplation, my art serves as a visual dialogue between the sacred and the tangible, imbued with symbolism and color that resonate with my viewers. Through the gentle guidance of Holy Spirit, I translate the intangible nuances of spirit into visual narratives, allowing God to speak through me in each stroke, word, and form. From watercolor meditations to prophetic portraits, live paintings, and ceramics, my artistic repertoire continues to evolve, a testament to the expansive nature of creativity unleashed. Each piece carries with it the potential to ignite a spark of revelation within the hearts of those who engage with it, inviting them to rediscover their own inner light and creativity. Utilizing a blend of acrylics, watercolors, and ceramics, I seek to not only evoke a sense of wonder and beauty but also to instill a profound sense of worth and value in the viewer. My creations, adorned with inspirational messages, serve as reminders of the inherent divinity within each individual, echoing the journey of self-discovery and acceptance that has defined my own path as an artist. In essence, my art is a testament to the transformative power of embracing one's creative essence and surrendering to the flow of divine inspiration. It is my sincerest hope that through my work, others may find solace, inspiration, and a deeper connection to the divine presence that permeates all of creation.
