Artist Statement
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Growing up, my mom surrounded me with music, theatre, art, and travel—experiences that opened my eyes to the world and taught me how powerful imagination can be in helping us understand life.
That early spark is still what drives me today. Whether I’m working in oils, watercolor, or digital media, I see each piece as a moment in a larger story. Every brushstroke, every layer feels a bit like crafting a scene onstage—where color, character, and emotion all work together to say something meaningful.
My background in theatre continues to shape my art in so many ways. It taught me the magic of shared experiences and the deep connection that storytelling can create. In my paintings, I try to capture that same sense of presence, inviting people to slow down, feel, and step into the world of the image with me.
At the heart of it all, I just want to make art that feels honest, passionate, and alive. My creative journey is always evolving, and with each new piece, I’m discovering new stories waiting to be told.
