Artist Statement
For me, the dark is not an absence but a presence — a rich landscape of emotion, imagination, and untold stories waiting to be revealed. My work lives at the threshold where light meets shadow, where uncertainty and tension fuel creativity rather than silence it. I am drawn to the hidden corners of the psyche, the uncanny spaces between life and decay, and the raw emotional terrain most people avoid.
Working across digital drawings, paintings, and even board game design, I use darkness as both metaphor and muse. In shadow, I find contrast — not only in form, but in feeling. It is where tension becomes palpable, where atmosphere deepens narrative, and where the unknown becomes a space for connection. Through each medium, I explore fear, resilience, vulnerability, and the instinct to endure.
