About

My self realized and independent journey into watercolor art has offered me a dynamic experience toward self expression. Also, connectedness to other artists has helped me to learn the basic concepts of watercolor techniques, style and eventually my own excitement of finding what I consider my niche. However, I am evolving, and as I practice, I find myself opening up to what I really love about watercolor, which is its flow and unpredictability. I find my inspiration in what is around me as I develop my artistic eye and endeavor to capture that artistically.

Artist Statement

My artwork explores the harmony between structure and spontaneity through the union of ink and watercolor. Drawing inspiration from Texas flora, fauna, and symbolic geometric design, I’ve transformed natural forms into meditations on interconnectedness and balance.
