I was born and raised in Japan, where I met my husband and moved to his hometown of Chicago. We then relocated to Dallas-Fort Worth. I have been making handmade jewelry for over ten years and have been a vendor at numerous indoor and outdoor arts and crafts fairs. My creations are original and inspired by my experiences in the world and the diverse people I’ve met. I select the stones for my work; each creation is unique and handmade. The colors represent the essence of my life and the beauty found in nature. I am proud that my jewelry is art I create from my life experiences. I traveled to many countries in my early twenties with my childhood friend. After that, I worked for a travel agency and lived in Kenya and Egypt. What sets me apart from others is that I have met people from all backgrounds and cultures worldwide, inspiring me to create jewelry influenced by them.
