I am a Fort Worth based fine artist. After pursuing a photography degree at the University of North Texas, I discovered graphic illustration and started my own freelance business, ‘Mandylopandy’. I won Dallas RAW Artist of the Year in 2012. Through networking, I joined local art collectives, and participated in several Gallery Nights, Art Cons, and Music& Festivals in the DFW metroplex. Being a part of the Fort Worth art community has always been important to me, I love networking with small businesses, from showing in local salons, boutiques, and on local music flyers. After stepping back to focus on family, I’m looking to kickstart my artist career.

Artist Statement

I love to combine kawaii culture with mid-century inspired style. I have always been drawn to minimal clean lines and bright color palettes. I also enjoy story book style mono-printing. I’m inspired by modern pop culture and drawn to artists like KAWS, Takashi Murakami, and Cote Escriva. The purpose of my art is to make the viewer smile and even laugh. I love to incorporate subtle humor into my pieces. Seeing someone study my work and then lock-in on a small detail that makes then chuckle is what inspires me to create.
