Artist Statement
I create hand-drawn artwork rooted in the quiet poetry of the natural world and the spirit of the American West and Southwest. My subjects - bugs, native plants, cactus, horses and landscapes are chosen for their resilience, intricacy and understated beauty. I'm drawn to the overlooked details: the veining of a wing, the curve on an aloe blade, the stance of a horse against an open sky. Working primarily by hand, I value line, texture, and the organic imperfections that make each piece feel alive. My style reflects a deep appreciation for earthy tones, desert light and the balance between delicacy and strength found in western and southwestern environments. I offer original works and prints, in small to medium formats, available framed and unframed. My goal is to create accessible pieces that invite connection - art that feels personal, grounded and at home in everyday spaces.
