I fell in love with clay during my high school art classes. I enjoyed how simple and versatile it was. I also liked how it felt so tangible and human. I made many pieces by hand and experimented with using a pottery wheel while in school, but I didn’t really start creating seriously until after college. At that point, I bought a pottery wheel and set up a little studio at home. I began to learn more about clay and started developing my own style. These days, I’m inspired by clean lines and rich colors. Every time I sit down to make something, I try to create a piece that is both beautiful and functional.
