About

My name is Corrie and I am the heart and hands behind @popnlocket. I am truly a one woman run small business. I create solar system/space themed jewelry and accessories as well as body positive/women/pro LGBTQIA centric designs, all handcrafted by myself. My pieces reflect bright, sassy, energetic, eclectic designs not seen any where else. I have been featured in Voyage Dallas as well as on CBS Sunday morning news. I create custom sunglasses on the spot at markets. I locally source my crystals used in my jewelry from small Texas based businesses. I have been selling with Deep Ellum Outdoor Market for 10 years and have since moved to Arlington and am looking to branch out in the FW area.

Artist Statement

My goal in creating is to bring unique yet affordable handmade, ecofriendly statement pieces that help tell the unique story of each of their wearers. I hope each of my pieces is a conversation starter: whether a small statement of women’s rights to an extra loud pair of custom festival sunglasses. I work with mainly recycled and recyclable materials and source my crystals and supplies from local small Texas businesses. I hope that, through my art, wearers can feel fiercely and unapologetically unafraid to be themselves. You can never be too much.
