My name is Lucia Dominguez, I am an artist based in Mansfield, Texas. I do oil painting and sell at local markets in the dfw. I was a semi-finalist at The Tartget Price international art competition with my "full-spectrum" piece. I enjoy going and discovering coffee shops and local creators.

Artist Statement

My objective is to make art that comforts people by appealing to them with colorful pallets, spark their curiosity with different textures, and raise their curiosity by focusing on overlooked details of life. The majority of my work consists of 4 in by 3 in pieces, they can be abstract, pop art, and still life. The rest of my work consists of different size canvas with similar motifs. The most distinctive composition of my art is a combination of swirls and lines made in one consistent swipe with colors of the same hue with different temperatures and chroma.
