Susie Monzingo
Biography
Susie Monzingo is best known for her art that portrays birds and animals. Growing up as a fourth generation Texan I am surrounded by nature’s bounty throughout this large state. Let’s just say that I was a late bloomer when my painting genes emerged. I began as a muralist and moved onto fine art on canvas. I love the way oil paint feels and how you can move it around and get that painterly effect. I have studied with many of the Top nationally recognized artist in their field and have benefited from it greatly. Having been juried and awarded into regional and national art shows is such a great honor for me. Every day I continue to grow as an artist and look forward to what the future might bring.
