Tiffany Richards is a passionate third-grade teacher and creative entrepreneur who pours her heart into everything she does. By day, she is a Mrs. Richards at Elder Elementary, proudly cheering on the Joshua Owls while creating engaging, welcoming classrooms where students feel seen, supported, and inspired. Beyond the classroom, she is the founder of The Crafty Kennel, a handmade dog accessories brand known for its high-quality snap bandanas, playful designs, and signature purple flair—often modeled by her beloved Goldendoodles, Daisy & Duke. Tiffany is deeply family-centered, married to Vern and a proud mom to Mallory and Caleb, and she brings that same love and intentionality into her business, community events, and creative projects. Whether she’s designing graphics, planning market days, supporting her children’s milestones, or encouraging her students to grow, Tiffany leads with warmth, humor, and an unmistakable creative spark.

Artist Statement

At The Crafty Kennel, we believe that handmade matters. Every bandana we create is thoughtfully designed, carefully sewn, and finished by hand with purpose and pride. Our pieces are not mass-produced—they are crafted one at a time using high-quality, 100% cotton fabrics and secure snap closures for both comfort and durability. From cutting and pressing to stitching and snapping, each step reflects our commitment to quality and care. We are passionate about supporting local whenever possible. Many of our materials are sourced from small shops and regional suppliers, and we proudly sell at local markets where we connect directly with our community. Being locally rooted allows us to build relationships—not just with customers, but with fellow makers and small business owners who share our values. The Crafty Kennel is a family-run business inspired by our love for dogs—especially our Goldendoodles, Daisy & Duke—and the joy pets bring to everyday life. Our bandanas are designed to be both playful and practical, with reversible styles that allow dogs to express personality while staying comfortable.
