About
I've always enjoyed working with my hands and creating. I started sewing in the 7th grade, worked as a lighting designer for a local civic theater during high school and since then I have cycled through various hobbies and crafts. My journey with clay began in October of 2025. I took a group class at Garret Pendergrass Studio. Since then, I've spent countless hours in the studio evolving my skill as a potter from what started as a hobby into a personal odyssey where I have grown with the knowledge of my craft. In January of 2026 I was brought on as an admin and instructor at the studio. A motto I find myself repeating in my head is "be like the clay." Clay is resilient; it just requires patience. I am eager to continue to grow as an artist and share the same love of pottery that I've found with others.
