I went to the University of Texas at Arlington to pursue a museum studies degree and fell in love with painting. I’m inspired to paint female figures with a focus on their inner beauty. I feel that in our time it is important that women are represented as beautiful on the inside when in the past they have often been objectified. I try to strip away their features and outward beauty to leave only their emotions, thoughts and expressions and what it is to be a woman. My art has been featured in galleries, tv shows, articles, and festivals and has been collected worldwide.
