Fort Worth maker Jennifer Wade has loved creating since childhood, first through painting and later through a wide range of hands-on artistic projects. Her interest in making eventually led her to polymer clay, where she discovered a love for creating small, wearable pieces of art. Through Art Tent, Jennifer designs handcrafted polymer clay and beaded earrings that explore color, texture, and playful detail. Her work is inspired by the joy of creating by hand and the belief that everyday accessories can bring both beauty and curiosity to what we wear.

Artist Statement

Art Tent is a Fort Worth-based handmade jewelry studio creating polymer clay and beaded earrings in small batches. My work explores color, texture, and playful form through lightweight, wearable pieces designed to feel both expressive and approachable. Each piece is carefully handcrafted, with an emphasis on thoughtful composition, subtle detail, and experimentation. Drawing inspiration from textiles, embroidery, and the process of making by hand, my work combines structure with curiosity to create jewelry that feels distinctive, tactile, and personal.
