I am a Puerto Rican and US-based artist most recognized for using automotive as the focal point of my multidisciplinary art. My artwork presents elements of automobiles, urbanism, nature lines and shades. Stills fragmented from what could or could not be, much like puzzle pieces. These pieces exist in a variety of mediums, with natural and deconstructed materials combined to create a cohesive whole. Influenced by how instructions, recipes, and rules outlined how things should be done. I experiment with combining them to collaborate on something they are not supposed to do. To contrast the natural with the antinatural, the unimaginable with the feasible, and the illogic with the logical. In the fast-paced world of today, I want my art to demonstrate how opposites attract and how diversity can coexist in the same place and time. I attempt to put together an impossible puzzle.
