Mya is a Fort Worth based traditional and digital illustrator who creates character-driven works. Mya’s illustrations are centered around storytelling and the diversity of the human (and superhuman) experience. She loves creating characters who have unique aesthetics and whimsical attributes like colorful skin tones and creature-like traits. By blending the organic textures of alcohol markers with digital precision, Mya showcases the lives of fictional characters in their distinct environments. With her illustrations, Mya invites the viewer to take a look into different worlds and find a piece of themselves upon exploration.
