In the spirit of plein air, artists are invited to make work during festival hours! Paint along side other artists during one of the most vibrant festivals in the city! In the spirit of the festival, artists may come and go as they wish. They are welcome to bring a small cooler if they like and there will also be food & beverage vendors in that area. They will set up in General Worth's Square which is the grassy area on the east side of Main Street, in between 8th & 9th. If it gets too loud due to proximity to stage, they may move up to the sidewalk area above the grass (Right by the Kaman's locations). Parking There is free parking for all metered spots after 6pm and all day Saturday & Sunday. For other parking, you can go to the https://www.fortworthparking.com/downtown site and there is an interactive map that lists all available parking lots in downtown. Most of them show the rate but some are variable depending on date/time. Food and Beverage Food and beverages vendors are set up for sales on Main Street in between 8th & 9th Street but artists are welcome to bring their own small cooler if they want. Restrooms While we have trailers on 9th street, just east of Main, there are also some local businesses that may allow them to use their facilities. The Hilton is a good place to refresh, and they have a snack shop that has drinks & snacks available for purchase. Content & Sales of Artwork We ask that all artwork be non-political and appropriate for a family friendly art festival. Sales of artwork – No sales allowed on-site but the artist may arrange to connect with the guest after the festival. Dressing for Festival We ask that they come prepared for wind, Texas weather & a good time! We also ask that their clothes, like their artwork, be of an apolitical & family friendly nature. Weather Alerts Festival staff will be monitoring the weather and will notify Arts Fort Worth of any inclement weather situations to relay to the artists.
