About
I grew up poor in a restrictive place and spent much of my life stateless. I often dreamed of a quieter world with space, light, and freedom. I retired a few years ago, but my hands were never idle. During the pandemic, I began painting. What started as something personal slowly became a way to express what I had carried for a long time. My paintings are often calm and dream-like. I am drawn to nature, flowers, and peaceful scenes. Some people find the work rich or unusual, but for me it is simply a place to breathe. I share my paintings through pop-up markets and local art events throughout the year. 2026 will be my fourth time participating in Arts Goggle on Magnolia Avenue.
