Artist Statement
I’m an artist who does drawings, illustrations, pattern design, and sometimes paintings. Focusing on some topics like nature, identity, emotion, and imagined events. Nature has always been inspiring to me. Naturally it feels like a part of me and there's so many different plants, especially leaves and flowers that I think are fascinating. Also mixing the idea with people whether they're in a landscape environment or physically a part of these organic elements is fun and an expressive way of creating. Other themes can be complicated concepts but I’m stepping back to look at how I identify with these things personally.
Using pen, pencil, color pencils, and sometimes acrylic paints as my mediums. Digitally as well but I mainly work with traditional materials. Also like to play with natural elements like leaves and seeds that are found on walks but this is still an experimental process.
