Nichole Strange

I am a lover of old art; rich in history and provocative in content. Most of us, today, don't have the space for large statues or busts. With many of my pieces, I endeavor to give that sculptural feel without the space requirement. Abstract art often calls upon the imagination while realism recreates the beauty we know. With clay, spackling, and acrylics, I strive to provoke thought and create movement. By day, I work a traditional 9-5 job in a hospital. A few years ago I realized I needed something more. Art became my outlet. I decided to create the images I pictured in my mind. I decided it wasn't too late to learn something new. Art brings me joy, peace and sense of accomplishment. Art is my passion.
