2026 PROSPECTUS - RICHARDSON CIVIC ART SOCIETY (RCAS)501c3 60th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition & Sale Hanging dates, April 27, 2026 through May 26, 2026 Funded in part by the City of Richardson through the Richardson Cultural Arts Commission MISSION The mission of this project is to provide to a diverse group of artists a place to exhibit their artwork. This will be accomplished in an art exhibition where they can display their work in a public gallery setting. CALL FOR ARTISTS The theme of the exhibition is, Celebrating 60 years of Art for Everyone. Artists are invited to create 2D works of art. Artist Prompts: Line, shape, color, and the use of space within an artwork that depicts the artist’s vision. Creativity and originality that demonstrates a quality representation. The show is open to all amateur artists in the state of Texas over the age of 18 years. The artwork must be original artwork created by the submitting artist. The RCAS Board of Directors reserve the right to refuse any artwork for any reason without refunding entry fees. Submitted work must be available for exhibition for the entire duration of the exhibition. Art must be appropriate for viewers of all ages. No nudes, religious or political content will be accepted.
