The legendary music icon Prince and his former wife Mayte’ Garcia created a nonprofit Live 4Love-Live 4Dance. She has continued working it and is bringing it to Texas! She is giving all dancers male and female ages 8-21, Full Free scholarships to experience Master Classes and Forum taught by some of the top award winning guest choreographers from Hollywood and L.A.! All they have to do is register online and accept the scholarships! This is such an amazing opportunity for our young people.

Live 4 Dance is a workshop experience from Live 4 Love Charities, created to uplift young dancers through professional instruction, artistic mentorship, and a celebration of self-expression. Launched in Minneapolis during Celebration Week honoring Prince’s birthday, the program empowers teens and pre-teens to grow—on and off the dance floor.

Join us for an unforgettable two-day dance workshop designed to inspire, challenge, and empower young dancers! Live4Dance brings together three dynamic instructors specializing in Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, and Contemporary for an immersive training experience.

Sign-in begins at 9:00 AM, and the program runs until 4:00 PM each day. Dancers will rotate in groups and work closely with all three choreographers throughout the weekend, training in both dance styles and performance technique.

The experience will culminate in a final performance on Day Two, where dancers will showcase everything they’ve learned.
