About

I'm a Fort Worth-based watercolor artist, and honestly, I didn't expect this to become such a big part of who I am. It started as a way to decompress, something just for me, and somewhere along the way it became so much more than that. I'm a mom, a person in the middle of her own growth, and for a long time I poured everything into everyone else. Art gave me a place where all of that could exist without explanation. Painting is how I slow down. How I check back in with myself when life gets loud. Each piece I finish holds something real from wherever I was when I made it. Watercolor found me at the right time. There's a beautiful unpredictability to it. Colors blooming, blending, spreading in ways you didn't plan. It mirrors real life that way: messy, layered, a little out of your control, and somehow still gorgeous. I stopped fighting that and started leaning into it, in painting and in life. I'm so glad to be part of this community, and excited to share a piece of myself.

Artist Statement

I'm a maximalist who paints life. Real life, full life, life with all its color and contradiction. My work isn't minimal or restrained. I want my paintings to feel like something, to take up space, to be alive on the page. Watercolor is the perfect medium for that because it's never quite tame. My work is rooted in tenderness, nature, femininity, and boldness. Florals, rich color, pieces that carry both stillness and energy at once. I paint because emotion deserves somewhere to live. My hope is that when someone sees my work, they pause and feel it too.
