TAFA is a full-time fine art academy that is focused exclusively on classical realist drawing and painting. The TAFA curriculum integrates Old Master working methods alongside a contemporary realist approach in an atelier environment. Our primary focus is teaching students to render the human figure accurately from direct observation. We embrace traditional views of beauty, and strive for excellence in theory and craftsmanship as it applies to realist drawing and painting principles and technique.
