Being born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, I grew up surrounded by the kind of culture and values that inspired Texas Roots Outfitters from the very beginning. From rodeos and stockyards to Friday night lights, ranch land, and hardworking people, Texas has always been more than where I’m from — it’s a part of who I am. My journey to starting this company has been shaped by plenty of ups and downs — a road full of choices, lessons, and experiences that helped define me along the way. Some moments brought success, while others brought challenges, but every step taught me something valuable and pushed me forward with a stronger sense of purpose and appreciation for where I come from. Texas Roots Outfitters was created to celebrate Texas and the people who make it what it is. The brand honors the grit, history, values, and traditions that have shaped the Lone Star State for generations. Inspired by cowboys, ranching, wildlife, rivers, open plains, sports, faith, small towns, and the everyday spirit of Texas life, each design is meant to reflect the pride and resilience that Texans carry with them. At its core, Texas Roots Outfitters is about staying grounded, working hard, remembering your roots, and carrying the spirit of Texas wherever life takes you.

Artist Statement

As a Fort Worth native, my work is deeply inspired by the culture, history, and people of Texas. Growing up surrounded by the stockyards, rodeo traditions, wide-open landscapes, and hardworking communities shaped the way I see both art and identity. Through Texas Roots Outfitters, I use apparel design as a way to tell stories that reflect the grit, pride, and authenticity of Texas life. My designs draw inspiration from the things that make Texas unique — cowboys, ranching, wildlife, faith, sports, small towns, rivers, and the traditions passed down through generations. I aim to create pieces that feel familiar and meaningful to the people who wear them, while honoring the spirit and values that continue to shape the Lone Star State. Texas Roots Outfitters is more than a clothing brand to me; it is a representation of resilience, heritage, and staying connected to where you come from. Every design is rooted in the idea that Texas is not just a place, but a mindset built on hard work, loyalty, and pride in your roots.
